Looking for a Conductor alternative for AI visibility? Conductor is an enterprise AEO suite that tracks nine engines across "over 160 countries" and meters every AI answer against a yearly credit budget.¹ Truffle tracks six AI surfaces on every paid plan, measures them daily (Google AI Mode weekly) without an answer budget, and publishes its prices: $69, $189 and $399 a month.

Conductor
¹ Conductor published pages, as of 24 September 2026: pricing page, product documentation (AI Search Performance, AI Search Setup, AI Search FAQs) and the free AI visibility tool.
Conductor calls itself "the enterprise platform for AI & search visibility" and supports, in its own documentation, "ChatGPT (Auto), ChatGPT (Search), Claude Sonnet, Gemini, Google AI Mode, Google AIO, Grok (Auto), Microsoft Copilot, Perplexity" across "over 160 countries".¹ That is broader engine coverage than Truffle offers, and it is the honest starting point of this comparison.
The question teams ask next is how much measurement a plan actually contains. Conductor meters it: "Each time Conductor prompts an AI search engine for a response, you'll consume the corresponding amount of credits."¹ Their published credit table charges between 0.10 and 2.00 credits per prompt and engine, their Growth plan lists 2,500 credits a year, and their own setup guide warns that daily tracking "will substantially increase your credit usage".¹
Truffle works the other way round. A plan buys brands and prompts, every prompt runs daily across all six surfaces (Google AI Mode weekly), and no answer is counted against a budget. The prices are on the pricing page rather than behind a sales call.
| Feature | Truffle | Conductor |
|---|---|---|
| Answer budget | None; answers are not metered | AI Response Credits; Growth lists 2,500 per year, Enterprise "2,500 +"¹ |
| Measurement frequency | Daily on every paid plan (AI Mode weekly) | Daily, weekly or monthly per prompt; daily "substantially increase[s] your credit usage"¹ |
| AI surfaces (entry tier) | 6 (ChatGPT · Claude Haiku · Gemini · Perplexity · Google AI Mode · AIO + SERP Top-10) | 9 engines, incl. Grok, Microsoft Copilot and Google AI Mode¹ |
| Free check without email | Result on screen, email only for the PDF report or a project | Website and email required before the report¹ |
| Scope per plan | 2 → 15 brands | 3 → 10 + tracked websites, their published unit¹ |
| Buyer personas | 5 per brand → unlimited | In their words: "Customize prompt generation by persona and intent"¹ |
| Hosting | EU (Germany), GDPR-ready | Not stated on the pages we read¹ |
| Conductor's edge | — | Nine engines · "over 160 countries" with a documented per-engine exception list · content generation, 24/7 site monitoring, log-file analysis for AI bots, API and MCP server¹ |

Truffle runs every tracked prompt daily across all six surfaces, Google AI Mode weekly. Conductor meters answers instead: our calculation from their published figures (their credit table and their Growth plan, as of 24 September 2026) puts one prompt across their nine engines at 7.10 credits per run. Measured weekly, that is 369 credits a year for a single prompt, so the published 2,500-credit Growth budget carries about seven prompts. Measured daily, it carries less than one.¹ Conductor publishes no prices, so this says nothing about what a credit costs. It says how much measurement the published budget contains.
Truffle’s free check returns the result on the page: your buyers, the questions they ask, what four assistants answered and who owns those answers today. The email address is asked afterwards, for the PDF report or to have the project set up. Conductor’s free AI visibility report asks for website and email before it shows anything.¹

Starter $69, Standard $189, Pro/Agency $399 per month, with add-ons listed on the same page. Conductor’s pricing page shows plan limits (2,500 AI Search Credits, 25,000 pages analysed, 5,000 tracked keywords on Growth) and routes to "Try for Free", "Request a Demo" and "Contact Sales" for the price itself.¹
See pricing →Conductor does not publish a price. As of 24 September 2026 its pricing page lists plan limits, for example 2,500 AI Search Credits a year on Growth, and routes to "Try for Free", "Request a Demo" and "Contact Sales". Truffle publishes its plans: $69, $189 and $399 a month.
Nine, according to its own documentation on 24 September 2026: ChatGPT (Auto), ChatGPT (Search), Claude Sonnet, Gemini, Google AI Mode, Google AIO, Grok (Auto), Microsoft Copilot and Perplexity, across "over 160 countries". Truffle tracks six surfaces on every paid plan and four assistants in the free check.
It is Conductor's unit for measured answers. Their documentation says: "Each time Conductor prompts an AI search engine for a response, you'll consume the corresponding amount of credits." Their published table charges 0.10 to 2.00 credits per prompt and engine, and their setup guide warns that daily tracking substantially increases usage. Truffle does not meter answers.
Teams that need engine coverage beyond six surfaces, tracking in many countries, or content generation, 24/7 site monitoring and log-file analysis inside one enterprise suite. That is a different product from a measurement tool. In their own words, Conductor builds on "10+ years of industry-leading keyword data".¹
